Leadership Program Application

Thank you for your interest in the 4th Annual West Side Promise Neighborhood (WSPN) Leadership Program. This program is designed to further empower communities and their leaders on the West Side. The program will run from July 9-23, 2019, and the schedule involves weekday evenings and some all-day sessions.

Program Details:

Dates: July 9 (optional full day, 9 am – 4 pm) and July 8, 10, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 (evenings, 5:30 – 8:30 pm)
Graduation Ceremony & Refreshments: July 23, 5:30 – 8:30 pm
Topics: Professional and personal branding, goal setting, facilitation training, effective use of public data training, community organizing, financial planning and more.
Location: Buffalo State campus and throughout the community (parking passes will be available when needed)
Funding: All participants will receive a scholarship valued at $1,000. The scholarship will cover workshops, materials and meals.
Certification: Participants will have the opportunity to earn certificates for select workshops throughout and upon completion of the program.
